Sama Al-Attar Company

Sama Al-Attar Company was founded in 1996 by Mr. Raed Al-Attar and Mr. Muthanna Al-Attar. It specializes in food distribution and began operating in wholesale and retail sales in the Republic of Iraq.

  • In 2013, the company obtained the exclusive distribution agency for Kiri and Lavash Kiri products in the Iraqi market.
  • In 2015, the company obtained the exclusive distribution agency for Hajdu.
  • In 2016, the company obtained the exclusive distribution agency for Siblo products.
  • In 2016, the company obtained the exclusive distribution agency for the German Münsterland milk.
  • In 2016, the company obtained the exclusive distribution agency for the Bakhra brand of Bungiagi.
  • In 2020, the company established a factory for the manufacture of paper napkins.
  • In 2022, the company obtained the distribution agency for the Hana brand of Amana Meat Cans.

The company has 4 distribution branches.

  • Headquarters in the capital, Baghdad
  • Northern branch in Iraqi Kurdistan
  • Middle Euphrates branch in Najaf
  • Southern branch in Basra

Company warehouses

  • The company owns warehouses and administrative offices in all branches in the main wholesale markets.
  • It is currently constructing main warehouses on the outskirts of Baghdad in the Jurf al-Naddaf area.

Distribution channels

The company covers all distribution channels, including wholesale, hypermarkets, supermarkets, retail, and Horeca, across all regions of Iraq. The distribution network reaches all Iraqi governorates.
